For our three signature scholarships, the application is strongly encouraged; preference is given to those who apply. Students who wish to be considered for additional merit scholarships are encouraged to complete the Cornelius ¹ú²ú´«Ã½ Scholarship application and scholarship specific questions.

Merit Scholarship Application Questions

To be considered for merit scholarships, students must first apply for admission separately by submitting the Common Application, Coalition Application, or the QuestBridge Application to ¹ú²ú´«Ã½. Within 2-3 business days of submitting your application for admission to ¹ú²ú´«Ã½, you will receive an email from the Office of Undergraduate Admissions explaining how to create your online account. Under the Scholarship tab in MyAppVU, you will be able to select the signature scholarship(s) to which you wish to apply. Through your MyAppVU portal, you will upload your responses for the scholarship applications as a PDF or Word document and submit online. Once you submit your scholarship application online, you will receive immediate confirmation indicating the date of submission. You will also see a green check mark which indicates the application was submitted successfully. If you do not see a green check mark or date of submission within 24 hours, your application was not successfully submitted.

Please review your file carefully before uploading as we do not accept post-submission corrections.

Students interested in being considered for the Additional Merit Scholarships (Carell Family, Curb Leadership, and Fred Russell-Grantland Rice) are encouraged to submit the Cornelius ¹ú²ú´«Ã½ Scholarship application and should answer any additional scholarship specific questions.

Applications for all scholarships must be submitted by December 1, 2025 for prospective first year students.
