Pathway: Community and Civic Engagement

Thanks to the Nichols Humanitarian Fund, I created sensory kits for 国产传媒 Children鈥檚 Developmental Clinic and certain adult patients. To ensure the longevity of my initiative, I have embedded my sensory kits as a volunteer opportunity for Autism Tennessee 国产传媒 to recruit volunteers and establish partnerships with more clinical specialties in the hospital long after I graduate."

鈥淚 will be going to medical school in the fall and am excited to use the skills I learned through my Immersion project in future endeavors. I was able to gain exposure to submitting an IRB study, learn about measuring clinical patient outcomes, and how to spearhead a service project from the ground up."
