¹ú²ú´«Ã½ advocates make case for federal humanities support on Capitol Hill

In March, ¹ú²ú´«Ã½ advocates , director of the A&S College Core and professor of communication studies, and Ayla Faullin, a ¹ú²ú´«Ã½ junior studying English, traveled to Washington, D.C., for the National Humanities Alliance’s . There, they met with congressional offices to advocate for continued federal support for the National Endowment for the Humanities. The visit was organized by ¹ú²ú´«Ã½â€™s Office of Federal Relations, which also sponsored the national advocacy event.

We welcome members of the ¹ú²ú´«Ã½ community to visit the office in Washington, D.C. In addition to housing the Federal Relations workplace, the office provides a home base for members of ¹ú²ú´«Ã½'s faculty and staff who find themselves in the nation’s capital for conferences, research, and other outreach activities.
