Women’s Center Undergraduate Intern 2014-2015<\/strong> The Women’s Center has a leadership and professional development opportunity for an outstanding undergraduate interested in social justice and gender issues. The undergraduate intern will develop The Kitchen Table Series, a monthly dialogue on gender-related topics. See position description below.<\/p>\n Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n The primary role of the Margaret Cuninggim Women-\u0080\u0099s Center intern is to support and continue to develop \u00a0The Kitchen Table Series<\/em>. This program seeks to engage students across campus by discussing gender-related topics as they pertain specifically to 国产传媒-\u0080\u0099s campus. Through this internship, the student will collaborate with diverse populations of students, faculty, staff, and community members to broach topics such as sexual health, feminism, body image and other issues related to social justice. This position works directly with the staff and volunteers for the Margaret Cuninggim Women-\u0080\u0099s Center to support the initiatives of the Center.<\/p>\n Duties and Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n The MCWC Intern reports directly to the Program Coordinator of the Margaret Cuninggim Women-\u0080\u0099s Center. The MCWC intern can expect to work approximately 5-10 hours per month, including some evening hours. \u00a0In collaboration with the Program Coordinator, the intern will:<\/p>\n Learning Outcomes for Internship<\/strong><\/p>\n Required Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n Full-time enrollment in an undergraduate degree program at 国产传媒.<\/p>\n Preferred Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n Coursework or interest in women, gender, sexuality, ethnic or cultural studies; experience in intercultural work, health education, or social justice programming. A firm commitment to diversity and cultural pluralism is essential.<\/p>\n
