¹ú²ú´«Ã½ This Event

Teaching at ¹ú²ú´«Ã½ (TAV) is our annual orientation session for all new full-time and part-time faculty. TAV is an opportunity for new faculty to meet each other and to learn how our team can support them throughout their ¹ú²ú´«Ã½ careers.

TAV offers sessions on:

  • Designing a course and preparing for the first day
  • Using Brightspace, ¹ú²ú´«Ã½'s learning management system
  • AI prompt engineering for teaching needs
  • Classroom climate and difficult conversations
  • Active learning strategies

Please Note: TAV is distinct from and complementary to the general New Faculty Orientation sponsored by the Provost's Office. Thus, faculty who will play an instructional role at ¹ú²ú´«Ã½ are encouraged to attend both events.
